Is there such a thing as self-love?
First, there is the self, the one who sees, walks, talks, behaves and is 'doing' the "Self".
Then there is a love of the Self, a vibration that feels lovely, soft and gentle, the energy that, supports and cares for the self, so the Self is taking care of the Self.
The Self has been created. It has learned through the years, fear, guilt, stress, Un-care, Unlove, etc. So possibly a manipulated and created human form.
What has been added to the self is societies expectation and conditioning, from the environmental constraints it was around from birth to now.
The self is dependent on this knowledge and all the ideas and concepts which self-love is attempting to heal. It makes it feel a bit better from all the past and present traumas.
Allow yourself to consider
Is self-love just another attempt to fix the human form? What do you think?
No Self?
As a possibility, let us consider that there is no Self, no one to love.
Just for a moment let’s say, that the person who you see, touch, and know now, isn’t actually you, the 'you' is different.
From a human perspective, the emotion of love is stated as the highest form and it is what is known to you as it presents itself to the world.
Let’s also say it doesn’t have a past or a future.
It doesn’t have an association with the emotions, attached to the mind or the issues of daily living.
Maybe it is a peaceful, fresh, alive being-ness in a body.
Do you feel this being would then require self-love?
If we have the potential to merge into source/God in the human form on this earth, then it seems like there would be nothing to love!
The realisation would be you are that you are love or nothing.
Realising you are this, completely requires a dissolving of the human self, the image that you hold and that others hold about who you are.
To disappear and be self-realised in love, is completeness, of nothing to do, no one to love as there is the coming home of this and nothing more is required.
